Can new people still submit?

I saw in the updates page that the deadline has been extended for late submissions. I've stumbled upon this hackathon recently without knowing about the update so I'm wondering if my submission would still be valid? Thank you.

    Hello, builder! You can submit as long as it is before the updated deadline which is Mar 22, 2023 @ 11:45pm ICT.
